Within the video game community, female gamers are commonly harassed even though they represent 46% of all players. I designed a solution called “Girl’s Day to Play”, which would be an event hosted by GameStop. I created a promotional poster and wrote a press release. Additionally, I redesigned the GameStop YouTube channel specifically for the “Girl’s Day to Play”. The event will establish a safe yet competitive environment where girls are fully recognized and can compete without gender discrimination.
